Creek Visit

We walked down to the creek behind the school and looked at the water and learned what a ripple, run and pool were. We found where those would be in our creek. It was very insightful. We also discovered that our creek has a lot of trash and misc. things in it, such as large pieces of cement blocks. I feel like if we can move it and clean up alot, maybe on a day when the creek is down, then it would be alot cleaner and smell better. Also, there is this peculiar looking liquid that has built up in an area in the creek. I think we should try to find a way to clean that out also. Getting some out would be better than none i suppose. There is a family of ducks that live there, I would like them to be safe and they could get hurt with all the trash in there. We need to work on this and make it a community thing. Hopefully it will stop raining and the temp will rise so we can go out there and do damage control. :)

to days journal was make a menu from foods found in WV. ( balansed meal). we had meny difrent ideas for food so I wont tell u them, but I have a qestion for u. What wold you serve?

our journal for the day was why do we put strow on the beds? In our discussion we sead that it has nutrionts in it, provids shelter, ackts as insulation, and protets form over irrigation
